Car Park Description

The APCOA parking lot SBB P+​​Rail Biel is located in the immediate vicinity of the train station and allows you to switch to the train easily. With an SBB train ticket or general subscription, a reduced tariff applies (details in the tariff information). Simply validate the entry ticket at the SBB counter during opening hours.

Lake Biel

Lake Biel offers numerous sights. The most important and touristically significant attraction of Lake Biel is the St. Peter's Island near Erlach. A Cluniac monastery was built on the island in the Middle Ages. But also the bird island is very worth seeing, it offers habitat for numerous water-loving breeding birds, which can be observed there. Equally interesting are the nature reserve, the nature trail, the church of Ligerz, the funicular railroad Tessenberg and the lido of Biel.
